OUR HOUSES
The Strawbale House - A rustic luxury holiday home located 10 km north from Kaikoura township. This architecturally designed house has been built in a peaceful rural environment, surrounded by native Kanuka trees with impressive mountain views.
The Little Black House - All the luxury, in a smaller package. Our 2-bedroom tiny house on a rural block of land close to the Hapuku river bike trails and local surf breaks.
OUR SERVICES
Food
Treat yourself during your stay and ask our experienced chef to set the table and cook an amazing dinner for you. Details on request and according to availability.
Wifi
Free Wifi is available throughout the property for all your streaming or work requirements. Netflix also.
Quality Linens
High quality fresh linen is provided, along with bathroom essentials. There is plenty of extra blankets should you require more warmth during our winter months.
Bike Hire
Hire your bikes directly from us. Then bike ride to the beginning of a marked and well maintained bike track that follows the Hapuku river to the ocean (20 min) and continues to Mount Fyffe (1h)
Car Park
Plenty of free safe car parking in front of the house.

In less than 5 minutes driving, you can find yourself at the best surf spots in Kaikoura or bike ride to the beginning of a marked and well maintained bike track that follows the Hapuku river to the ocean (20 min) and continues to Mount Fyffe (1h) (there is a possibility to hire bikes directly with us - on request). In hot summer, if you feel like having a refreshing swim, take a 10 minute walk to the Hapuku river.
